Post-doctoral assistant (24 June 2015, KU Leuven) Vacancy

The KU Leuven’s Cultural History Research Group is looking for a post-doctoral assistant.

The successful applicant will design, supervise and carry out research in the field of the cultural history of the nineteenth and twentieth century. He/she will also be required to teach a number of lectures and course units:

  • The History of historiography lecture (F0LB1A)
  • The History of the Low Countries lecture (F0LB2B)
  • Supervision of Bachelor’s papers on cultural history (F0LH0B)
  • Supervision of Master’s dissertations on cultural history (F0VE5B)
  • The Master’s dissertation seminar (F0SX5A)
Candidates must hold a doctorate in History and should preferably have research experience in the field of the cultural history of the nineteenth and twentieth century.The position is at Assistant Academic Personnel (AAP) grade, as a post-doc assistant on a part-time basis (80%) for three years. Extension by an identical period of three years may be possible.
